This week marks a couple of big milestones for me. First, I have been on this way of eating for 26 weeks now - exactly 6 months. Back on September 1, I really didn't know where this would lead. I just knew that it was working for others, so it should work for me. I committed to it. When I started, I was mentally ready to hit it hard and stick with it. I think that makes the difference - you have to decide from the start that this is what you are going to do, no matter what. Yes, there will be bumps in the road, but that's not going to stop you.
One of my favorite quotes: the successful person is the one that falls down 10 times, but gets back up 11.
Second big milestone for me is that I finally hit the 50 pounds lost mark. Interesting that it happened at exactly half a year. Next big goal is to be in that great area called "One-derland" (when your weight starts with the number "1"). Won't be long from now.
So everyone, keep up the great work and just take it a day at a time - those days will add up!
