BBQ - first time in.....
« on: March 07, 2011, 07:41:23 PM »
Wow! I had forgotten the wonderful taste of barbecue sauce. I found some WF sauce at Ingles yesterday. My husband grilled some chicken breasts with it tonight and it was soooo good! I haven't had any in almost a year. I made sauteed squash and steamed asparagus to go with it. Delicious dinner and it will be a delicious lunch tomorrow, too!

I cannot find Walden Farms BBQ sauce or the fruit spread in any of the grocery stores in my area. UGH.  I really don't want to order it online, but I guess I'm going to have to break down and start food shopping online!   (My kids are going to think I've gone off the deep end).

I WANT BBQ CHICKEN!  AND BBQ PIZZA (made on a La Tortilla) use the BBQ Sauce (instead of pizza sauce), chicken and cheese !

Thank you Jo!  You are so funny!   ;D   I've still got the "snowman" thing going on...melting from the top down!  I am happy that I've lost in my face, but I am ready to get rid of these hips & thighs!  I'm hoping to have more time to get out and walk in the evenings after the time changes this weekend.  I LOVE it when it stays light til around 9pm.

Ok....can't wait to get some of this BQ sauce!

Hi Maddysmom!
(Im a Maddy's mom too!)
I love the snowman analogy.  I'm melting like a snowman as well.  From the top to the bottom!  I need to do some situps!

Have a great day!

Awh that's GREAT Momx4!   We just have one child (age 19) and her name is actually Madison, but most of her close friends call her Maddy. There's someone else on the forum who also has a daughter named Madison.  When the Movie "Splash" came out in the 80's I thought...."If I ever have a daughter...." ha ha

Ok Owensmath.....I'm jealous of your left overs!  :)

Be jealous even more now: My friend, Readyforthis, just brought me three little brownie bites she made this weekend! They were delicious!!!! I think they are the almond brownie recipe. She'll read this and correct me if I'm wrong.

I didn't like the WF BBQ sauce at first, but I tasted it plain and not on a food. Last time I had it was on a pizza with CarbQuick. We added BBQ sauce, grilled chicken, jalapenos, and cheese. I could eat that every night!

I LOVE sharing food with my FTS buddies!!  Gosh I wish we lived closer.  If the brownie bites taste anything like YOUR almond brownies they would have to be delicious!!

Kroger and it's affiliates are the only store I've found with Walden Farms products.  It's sugarfree, carbfree, calorie free! Weeeeeeee lol

I melted the opposite...my bottom half went first then worked up.  Wish I could get rid of those darn bat wings! lol  Perhaps the elliptical will help. I hate lifting weights.
Peace and blessings,

IzzeT

The only store near us that carries some of the WF products (WF = Walden Farms *for Maddysmom* he he) is Ingles. I have found BBQ sauce, ketchup, and chocolate syrup so far. They may have salad dressings, but I haven't needed to search for those yet.
