Cold remedies anybody?

Husband and I both have head colds, pretty bad. Throats all scratchy and just plain miserable. Do y'all have any home remedies?? Preferably besides, Jack Daniels and coke:-)

Vinegar,SF Honey, and Cayenne, it works great!!!  Tastes funky but really works.
