Umpa, I have been looking at some of my recipes and was wondering what do you do when it calls for both sugar and brown sugar?

So, if it calls for 1/2 cup do you use the same amount of syrup?  Also, if the recipe calls for 1 cup of sugar do you use 1 cup of xylitol?

Thank you  :D :D :D

1/4 cup of syrup will cover 1/2 cup brown sugar. If the liquid is a issue, reduce (boil down until thick)the syrup on the stove or reduce the liquid in the recipe. I normally use half the amount of xylitol when i am subsituting it for sugar. But if there are other sweet ingredients I reduce that to 1/3. ;)
