YAY ME!!
« on: March 19, 2011, 11:48:06 AM »
;DI have to admit! I am very proud of myself! I started the program weighing 240 and now I'm at 229! I thought I would NEVER get off of the 230 mark! lol...Although, I really can't "see" the difference, yet...But I feel it! and my clothes are a lot looser! Heck, I may have to go and get a new wardrobe! lol...Once I hit my goal weight!! And yes, Doug and Umpa ;DYou were right! Once it starts coming off, it will keep coming off. The trick that I have found, if you "really" stick with the program and don't "cheat", it has no choice but to come off! I just hate that it takes soooo long to come off, but hey, it took years to put it on! and years of bad habbits to break!
I used to LOVE cheesecake!! and to be completley honest, I don't even miss it!! Plus, if you don't buy it, you won't eat it! Is my motto!!

Congatulations Snobles!   By the way, there's GREAT cheesecake recipes in the new FTS  bakery book!  They have all the taste, and none of the guilt!  The awesome recipes help me stick with the program because I never feel deprived.
Keep up the good work!!

Oh I totally understand.  I had to get real honest with myself when I saw Sherri's picture of her slice of cheesecake.   ::)  I had been cutting much BIGGER slices.  lol   I loved Umpa's advice on another thread.  She suggested we freeze separate slices of cheesecake to avoid eating too much at once.  Sure wish I  had done that!   I could've had some NOW!  ha ha

If you make the cheesecake in the cupcake pan, I bet the serving size would be perfect! : )

Thank you SherriPie! and Doug, he's still livin low-carb. He's doing really good. We've all had to change our eating habbits! It has been quite a struggle! But once our 15yr. old had diabeties, it was another wake up call! It's funny how diabeties works! Both my grandparents had it! My grandfather was takeing insulin 3 times a day! and it skipped me! Thank goodness! and it skipped my oldest son and went to the youngest! I just can't wrap my head around it! We are all eating a lot healthier now! Thanks to Doug! and now that we've been on it for a while, it's not near as hard as it was in the beginning! Just thankful, I've made it through detox! lol...no more of that! I think that was the worst of the whole ordeal!

If you make the cheesecake in a cupcake pan use cupcake liners so you can get them out.  ;)
