Hi Jen! :)

And don't become obsessed with what the scale tells you.
Often, when our weight loss slows or stops, inches will be disappearing.

Also, most of what happens to our bodies while we lose weight is not visible to us.
Our bodies go through a series of complex chemical adjustments.
How long these adjustments take varies from person to person.
If you happen to be one of those folks that take longer, don't let it discourage you!!!

The scale is actually the LAST place our weight loss is actually apparent.
What you do today is what matters!

Thanks skychant! :)

I'm in my 36th week.
It's been a rather slow but enjoyable (and tasty) journey.

Last week, I took my monthly measurements and noticed that a quarter inch here and half inch there disappeared since last month.
What you do today is what matters!

Thanks Umpa! :) :) :)

I've long since made up my mind that FTS will be a part of my life for the rest of my days.
I feel SOOOO MUCH better than I did before!... It's unbelievable!

Going back to my old ways is not an option.
Would anyone (in their right mind) knowingly and willfully destroy their health by going back to their old ways?
I, for one, WILL NOT!!!

Okay, weigh in time - up .4# this week.  I know I did super well this week eating wise... It is what it is.  We bought a new scale yesterday, but I didn't get the chance to see how it compared (number wise) to the old one  :(   At least this scale should show a lower number next week!  And yes Tony, I finally did measurements today so I have that to compare going forward :D

Don't feel bad Jen.... when I bought my new scale last week I went up to.  I think my old one was just off.  I still feel great so I'm not to worried.  Besides we can always retain that much in fluid even in one day... Your doing great  ;)

Week 7!!  Weight only down .2lbs :P.   I would be really irritable about that, but THANK YOU Tony!!!!  I did my measurements last week and repeated them this morning and Holy Crap!!!   ;D  I've lost 6-1/2 inches all over!  1-1/2 inches in my waist and 1-1/4 inches in my hips alone!  I started back to the gym this week and was worried what that might do to my weight loss (I'm sore as all get out lol).  But I think as long as my numbers are going down somewhere I'm OK with it!  And I tried on my 14's (jeans) and not only was able to pull them over my hips and butt; I was able to button and zip them!  And breathe!  I'll call this week a good one!  Happy Mothers Day to all you moms!!  Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
