EZEKIEL BREAD????
« on: April 26, 2010, 11:47:38 PM »
:DI'm new to Doug's weight loss program.  I'm wondering if eating Ezekiel bread, = 14g carbs - 3g fiber and NO SUGAR, is okay as long as the rest of my carb intake doesn't exceed 20g.

THANKS!

A wolf in in a lamb suit.... don't you  :o the sugar? 14 carbs-3 fiber= 11 net carbs, that's almost 3 teaspoons of sugar per slice. It's important that you learn to SEE all the hidden sugar in everything and stay under 20 net carbs per day. My favorite wrap for sandwiches is still a big romaine lettuce leaf. Stay in contact, keep asking questions, re-read the book.... we're here to help:)
