Snickerdoodle question
« on: March 31, 2011, 05:08:39 PM »
I posted this in desserts, but not sure if it will be seen before I leave.

I baked Snickerdoodles today and they turned out okay, but are pretty soft. Should I put them in the fridge or even freeze them before I leave tomorrow? Since they're so soft I wasn't sure if they'd survive the extremely rough 40+ mile road we're driving on. What do you think? I'd hate to take them up and find a container of crumbs.  :-\

Well, I left the cookies at home and took PB Cups instead. They were a huge hit and the three ladies I went with now want the recipe. :)

It was nice -- thanks, Umpa. It's been forever since I got out of the house without my family in tow. And I went with 3 ladies my husband works with, so it was fun getting to know them better. I posted a few pictures on my blog @ http://renajjones.blogspot.com/2011/04/schnaus-cabin-trip.html if you want to take a look at them.

Regardless of the snow, it wasn't cold at all. In fact, we were too warm most of the time being the woodstove, the walking, the snowshoeing, etc.

The ladies loved your PB Cups and are asking for the recipe now. :)
