Turn this into a Swedish meatball recipe by dumping all the meatballs and drippings into a bowl and gently mixing in 1 1/2 cups of FTS Rich and Creamy Alfredo Sauce. YUMMY!

Rich and Creamy Alfredo Sauce

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup salted butter
1 cup zero carb heavy whipping cream
1 clove garlic, crushed (1 net carb)
1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon coarse cracked black pepper

[1.5 Net Carbs for entire recipe]

1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium low heat.
2. Sauté garlic for 1 minute
3. Whisk in cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Add cheese and whisk quickly, making sure to melt the cheese completely.
5. Stir in pepper and parsley and serve.

TIP — Substitute this recipe for any recipe calling for Alfredo sauce. Many recipes call for Bertolli Alfredo sauce from a jar. Although this cuts down on prep time it increases carbs 3 net grams per ¼ cup. Using the above recipe will cut down total net carb count substantially.

I love Alfredo sauce  8) It can make any dish incredibly savory, try it on omelets, just a couple tablespoons makes a big difference. I had a Brie cheese and spinach omelet for breakfast yesterday with a lemon twist to this sauce. Simply sir in a bit of lemon juice to the base Alfredo sauce for a whole new dimension. If the base is in the fridge you can go all kinds of directions. Fresh dill weed for a fish sauce is another great example.

Enjoy! :) Every bite delicious should be your eating rules.

I still want to try these. Curious how many meatballs are considered a serving if it makes 12.

To me a serving size is what you can afford  to spend out of your 20 carbs a day. Good planning can get you cheesecake for breakfast! :D

by my calculations a 6 ounce serving would be approximately 4 meat balls.

I found the recipe on a container of KRAFT parmesan cheese and it says, Makes:6 servings, two meatballs each.
You can also use ground turkey to make them.  I try to adhere to FTS guidelines for portion sizes.  I wouldn't sit back and  eat a whole pound of meat at one sitting or a day even. Stop eating when you are full.

After reading this post, I saw a meatball pan in the current Avon catalog. Send readyforthis a message if you are interested. She can give you a link to her site if you want to order it. I can't wait for it to come in . I also ordered a lasagna pan with three separate sections so you can make up to three different types of lasagna in one pan. It's so cool!
