Carbs are back?

http://www.foxnews.com/slideshow/health/2010/09/27/carbs-help-lose-weight/#slide=1%20?test=faces

My husband bought this book out of curiosity. It was so hard to understand that he took it back. Odd thing was that the people pictured in the book had lost no more than 10 pounds on average. If eating these resistant carbs are so good for people, you'd think they'd had shown better results before publishing their book.

I think it's easier for me to go without than try something that I end up liking just to give up later. I've given up so much, the thought of giving up anything else...well it ticks me off. I saw some pasta that had "resistant carbs" but I heard bad reviews on it...so I've gone without...still miss it though. It is what it is eh? How is the weight loss going by the way Rena?

LOL, that's a loaded question! I use LaTortilla Factory Tortillas in almost everything! But I make squash, zuchinni, and cabbage soup, I eat boca burgers, asparagus, I make pizzas on the tortillas with a fancy marinara with garlic, spinach, basil, and Italian seasonings, then hand shredded baby spinach, and black, green, and calamato olive, I make wraps with spinach, olives, and tomatoes, and one of my favorite meals are these vegan tamales I cover in salsa, and vegan queso (Nacho Mamas Ultimate Vegan Queso), and GG Bran Crisp bread with Earth Balance almond butter, and for a quick fix I eat the tortillas with Earth Balance vegan butter and nuke it LOL. I have also eaten the Shirataki noodles with olive oil, broccoli, balsamic vinegar, olives, and tomatoes and Italian seasonings...oh, and stir fry with snap peas, water chestnuts, bell pepper, broccoli, edamae, carrot shreds (it comes in a mix so theres only a few) and soy sauce and ginger. :D I have a Facebook photo journal called, "What do vegans eat?" and then "What do vegans east on a low carb diet?"

Oh! How could I forget! My FAVORITE meal is zucchini, squash, and red, yellow, and green bell peppers wrapped in a LaTortilla Factory tortilla with salsa...it's a vegan fajita :D
