I heard from Jim last night. He wanted me to tell you that "he's gained all his weight back and feels like crap"   :o His computer crashed and his hard drive is being fixed, he'll be back on the forum ASAP hopefully with some better news. Jim said "You guys were right, I just was'nt ready to give up the carbs.....I AM NOW!"  Jim restarts the program today  8)

Please tell Jim he continues to be in our thoughts and prayers.
And like Maddysmom said, we'll be right here ready to help him when he returns! :) :) :)

Im in this boat.. Its a hard addiction to break.. I was glad when I broke mine... it took a while, but I did it.. We will continue praying for him....I think its important that we help him if he is ready to create a game plan.. I feel that "planning" is sooo crucial.. Also, he has to stay away from all the carb friendly sweets until he has control.. I could have not done it if I just eliminate the sweets all together including F2S dessert.. Those come in what I would call Phase 2...

It all boils down to is he really ready to make a permanent change or not. We could have the holy grail of weight loss but if someone isn't willing to really follow the program, give up the carb addiction for good then it's just not going to work.  :-[

Very well said, Sherri! :)

To succeed at ANYTHING worthwhile, one must be very serious about being committed to succeeding.
To be committed, one must be 100% willing to say "Goodbye" to any of their "old ways" that stand in their way.

I pray that Jim (and anyone else out there silently struggling like him) find the strength he (or she) needs to do this.
What you do today is what matters!
