Doug, what are the chances of getting you to add a chat room to this website? That would be awesome and I think there is free software out there to make it happen. I’d love to chat in real-time on here with these awesome people.

I agree. I think it would bring a greater sense of fellowship here. It would also bring more people to the site overall, and ultimately more people would be on F2S so Doug, you’d sell more books. Seems a win/win and I personally would love it.

Umpa and I just came back from an afternoon of fishing :) Getting ready to leave the Florida Keys for the woods of Alabama for some bass fishing then off to NC. Our input will be spotty the next two weeks depending on available internet service. I'll look into the possibility of adding a chat room mod  8)

No fish to clean today, came in a bit early. It was rough and Umpa hurt her back a few days ago....she wasn't having fun. You know the old saying, If momma ain't happy, nobody's happy"  ;) Umpa luvs fishin!

Umpa is SO cool to fish with you!!  We live just a few miles from Lake Lanier. My husband has a little 18 ft center console, and he's on the lake EVERY Saturday fishing for stripers.  I go sometimes, but if the fish aren't biting, I get bored really quick!  ha ha

When we were in Ft. Lauderdale a couple years ago, my daughter and I went out with him on charter boat and she hooked an 84 inch atlantic sailfish.  My husband had to fight it for her to get it in.  Gray's Taxidermy in Ft. Lauderdale did the replica for us, and it looks ALOT like yours!  If our daughter ever gets married, there will be a fight over who gets the fish when she leaves home!  ha ha

Maddysmom, I feel ya - I used to live right on Lake Erie and my sister went fishing all the time.  I would go, but got bored super quick - if they weren't biting in 5 minutes I was done!  Umpa - hope you get to feeling better soon!! :D

If you do install a chat room here Doug, please make it a real time chat, not those 80’s style fake ones that need the page to refresh to see new messages, imho

I LOVE Fishing!!! I work and fish! Thats my life! I threatened to use the children for bait so they don't come around anymore!! :D :D :D :D I didn't catch the sailfish it was in a house we purchased.I told doug if he hung it on the wall I would have to name it!So meet "Bill"our sailfish that lives on our living room wall.Every morning I say "good morning Bill" :D
I hope I get better by saturday so I can go large mouth bass fishing! :)
