What are you eating?
« on: May 02, 2010, 09:33:20 PM »
What is a typical day for everybody as far as food goes?  I know that's a bit of a wide range question, but I'm looking for ideas I guess.  I've been going for 3 weeks now and have lost 5 pounds...not great, but that's 5 pounds towards my goal so I'm thankful.  I'm not alone on my journey, my husband, mother and 3 children are also along for this new way of eating and I need some ideas...lol. (tomorrow is my weigh in day, so fingers crossed for a loss)

Wow, you're gonna get bored with that really quick. Try to change it up. A chayote squash makes a great baked 'potato'. Im going to make eggplant french fries tomorrow night for dinner yum.

I just started a week or so ago, but a typical day for me is:

Breakfast: 2 (if I'm really hungry, 3) scrambled eggs with a little bit of diced green pepper, 1 slice of diced canadian bacon.

Snack: almonds /or string cheese (reduced fat)

Lunch: chicken breast/salad

Dinner: chicken or fish of some kind, green vegetable.

Snack: sugar free jello with reddi whip or jello sugar free mousse cup with reddi whip
