I just made these and they are in the oven now....my husband, the skeptic, said they smelled good while I was making them.
Izzet I know you made these a while ago, but do you remember how much xylitol you used instead of the erythritol they call for in the recipe?

I think I used 1 1/2 cups and a little smidge more but not 2 cups.  Too much xylitol and it gives it a funny taste. lol

The miracle brownies are good, but the almond meal brownies are better.

Owensmath is this the recipe for the Almond Meal Brownies?  http://fattoskinny.net/index.php?topic=668.msg5187#msg5187  What did you substitute for the corn starch?  I'm going to make brownies tomorrow so maybe I'll try these.

the miracle brownies are made with flax seed and hardly any carbs and healthier so I  prefer them to the almond meal. ;)

I used guar gum instead of cornstarch so I took 12 carbs out of the total.

We are talking about another brownie recipe.  This one is made with almond meal, but calls for cornstarch.  Owensmath substituted guar gum for the cornstarch.
