Xylitol = A+
« on: May 16, 2011, 01:23:30 PM »
Just got my 15 pound bag of Xylitol and it is great. I had it in my Smaps cereal the other day and when I ate all the Smaps and when I did the classic pick up bowl and tilt toward mouth to drink the remaining unsweetened almond milk, I got to the bottom of the bowl and was greeted with a pile of sweetness second to none. Made me think of eating cheerios as a child with regular sugar remembering that last sip is being so good, and this stuff was just as good. Wow. No chemical taste, just plain sweet goodness. Tried it sprinkled on strawberries next and it was awesome. Then tried it in, and on, my one minute muffin, again awesome. Just love this product. I give it an A+. Keep in mind this is coming from someone who can’t stand Sweet & Low or Splenda.

Hi F2S-Awesome! :)

Xylitol is my favorite too!
Just be careful not to overdo it or intestinal gas and/or diarrhea may result! :o

Also, if you find your weight loss stalled, you may have been overdoing it! ;)
What you do today is what matters!

I think Xylitol is what's been aggrivating my stomach, sadly. :(

I'll give that a try, but when I make the Beanit Butter Cookies, I cut the recipe in half. I'd understand it if I were eating a bunch of the cookies, but I can 'feel' it when I eat only one. And, I make mine really small, like the size of half dollar.

Usually just Beanit Butter. I had a couple of cookies last night and felt okay, so who knows. I'm also waiting on an order from Netrition that has both BB and Xylitol. Go figure. :)
