Quick Filling Zero Carb Snack
« on: May 18, 2011, 09:49:24 AM »
Next time you're at the store check out the great selection of canned sardines and kippered snacks. Fast easy delicious snack, incredibly good for you and most are zero carb! They come in their own tin, can be easily stored in the car or carried in a purse. Add a piece of GG and some cream cheese to kick it up a notch  ;)

Be careful with canned oysters!... Although pretty low, they have carbs.
Same with canned clams.

You girls are too funny! They taste like tuna fish. I like to spread a bit of cream cheese on a GG, a little slice of onion then a sardine on top with some salt and pepper. The average price of a can is between $.50-$.75 .... Be brave  8)

My favorite, and Hanks best effort was in "Saving Private Ryan".... Hands down!
His performance was right up there with the all-time greats!

Sadly, that video clip cuts off right before he starts twitching and gagging. It was the only one I could find, but it's such a hilarious part of the movie.

Castaway is one of my favorites, too, along with Saving Private Ryan. I also love The Money Pit.

:o :o :oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!  Just what I need, a tin of "open" sardines in my hot car or possibly spilling a few drops of fishy smelling oil in my purse!  How would that work out sitting in the pew on Sunday morning??  LOL  I used to make my hubs eat his sardines when I wan't home, dispose of the tin in a sealed zip-lock bag and get it outside in the trash BEFORE I got home.  YUK! And use mouth wash before he kissed me hello.  There's gotta be better ways to get Omega-3.  Just sayin'  I'll stick to almonds for a snack in purses or the car.
