Cancelled my Gastric Bypass Surgery

I read Doug's book last week. What a simple revelation. Started this new approach to eating and the results have been amazing. I have decided to cancel my gastric bypass surgery and am clinging to this diet.

Welcome to the family JLaw :) Glad to see we saved you from having your guts ripped out! :o :o :o Your weight will come off naturally here and you'll keep it off forever if you adopt this as a life style change vs looking at it as a diet  ;)

@Jlaw. Congradulations on Your choice!!! You will be amazed at how much weight you will loose! My husband and 2 teenage boys are all type 2 diabetics and I'm the only non diabetic one in the bunch! I also have been following along, and we all have lost the weight! My husband went from 345 to 300! My 16yr. old went from 330 to 315 and my 15yr. old went from 305 to 287, I went from 240 to 220 in just a matter of weeks! You will thank yourself for makeing the right choice. This isn't a diet, it's a "Way of life." No other "diets" can measure up to what this way of life offers!! Good luck!! and welcome!

Welcome to the forum.  Just think of all the money you have saved.  Sad to say my niece had the surgery the end of December.  I am losing just as much as she is without surgery.  I am so glad that you found FTS.  Can't wait to see your ticker moving down.
