5' 10"  here!  My husband is 6' 1", and our daughter is 6' 2". (In my profile pic, you can tell she is leaning down so our faces would be side by side. lol)  Our house is like "Land of the Giants"! ;D

Thriftstores have saved me lately. There's no way I could have bought a whole new warddrobe to go on vacation right now. Even then, those shorts I got are already loose on me. Last night I cut open the waistband of a pair of sleep pants I couldn't wear because they kept falling off. I stuck in a tie from an old hoodie and made a drawstring.

I'm 5'8" -- always thought I was too tall as a kid, but as an adult I wouldn't mind being taller. Weird.

Yeah, you kind of have to go all the time to get lucky. The last time I was there, I heard a worker telling someone else that people check the return rack right by the dressing room first because that's where all the current, cuter stuff usually is. I never even thought of that.

Yay Jan! I know how it is being the giant family. My husband is 6'5 and my 12 year old son is 6'3. I am now considered the midget in the family being only 5'11. I know you probably know this but The Avenue offers talls in all their pants, and they're cute too. I love the place and it's pretty cheap while you go down sizes. ;)

Thanks, Doug. I don't mind eating them plain, but this makes it better.

Today I used a square Tupperware to make a piece of bread with the One Minute Muffin. I added some dill into it, which went great with my tuna. We do make low-carb bread, but not often, so the OMM comes in handy.

Thanks Sherri!  I will check out The Avenue!  Never understood why so many stores carry petites but not longs.  Oh well.  Wow...your family is taller than mine!

Speaking of the OMM....

My son picked up an electric omelet making appliance at our church's yard sale (mission trip fund raiser) knowing that I eat a lot of eggs. So, I started thinking and getting creative. I'm having fun with it now. This morning, I varied the OMM recipe, added blueberries, walnuts, and  SF pancake syrup and had a great substitute for a scone/muffin.
I've put a sausage link in it and then used the OMM recipe around it, too.
Of course, lots of variations on omelets, too.

JO

You, Umpa and I can be in the land of the little people....LOL   I'm 5'2" on a good day!!  My children's father was 6'5" so everyone around here is taller than me  :o

Rena I love your ideas for the OMM I never thought of using dill.  I bet that is good with the tuna  :) :)

Owensmath I wonder if you used a hot dog you could make like a corn dog, or...... use a sausage link with a little maple flavoring you would have like a sausage dog you can buy here  (pancake sausage on a stick)  dipped in sf maple syrup...Yummmmy
