Chipotle- I'm addicted

Have you guys been to Chipotle lately? I am so addicted to their salad bowls. I go in and get the lettuce (extra of course) double meat, cheese and guacamole. The guacamole I get on the side so I can control the amount. One serving of the guacamole has 8 carbs so I usually only use half. But you can have a huge salad that is really good, tastes like a burrito really and it's only 6 carbs (that's my high estimate). If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it.

That carb count is great. I don't understand how the grilled chicken salads at McDs can be so high.

I wish we had a Chipotle's here    I saw a program that had the founder of that restaurant.  He talked about how they use only the freshest ingredients and most everything healthy for you.  If I find one in any of my travels I will be sure to try it....

Mexican is one of my favorites and the easiest to make!I haven't been to Chipotes yet will have to try it when back in florida.

There's not one here in Gainesville, but I just did a search and found that there is near the Mall of Georgia which is only 16 miles from here in Buford, GA!   Thanks so much for the info Sherri!   We will have to go check it out!!!

I am really surprised they aren't on every corner in every town. They seem to be in every city we move to, so I just assumed they were everywhere. Jan, you will love it..definitely worth the drive and your peeps you take with you that aren't FTS'ers will love it too.

We go to the Mall of Georgia all the time!  I have just never noticed this restaurant in passing.  Had it not been for Sherri's referral, we probably wouldn't have ever sought it out to try it.  I just love this forum!!

Thanks girls!    I've been stuck a couple of weeks, so I decided to leave off ALL sugar alcohol until the scale started moving, and it totally does make a difference.

Ok.... so I found one in Columbia!!  That is where my daughter goes to college at!  Yea!  I will be sure to try it out the day we move her back to school

 I need to leave the sugar alcohol alone for a while myself.  I might would loose faster.  I would love to be at or close to my goal by my son's wedding...LOL   It's a hard habit to break though.  I have always thought I needed something sweet with every meal.  Maybe if I just chew gum...I can do this, I can do this...LOL

Sadly, there's no Chipotle's that I know of in Washington state.
