Carbquik Biscuit
« on: June 15, 2011, 10:30:59 AM »
Breakfast this morning was poached eggs, bacon and biscuit.  The biscuit (2 net carbs) I made with Carbquik (Netrition 3 lb. box $11.99).  Pretty good biscuit.

A lot of people prefer to make this themselves, but I like the taste of CarbQuick. We use it for pizza every now and then. It just has that 'Bisquick-ity" taste, which takes me back to my childhood. :)

I'm here! Been out of town for a week in New Orleans for work (annual convention). Lots of fun and work.  Food wasn't a problem, tons of walking!

I had ordered the Carbqick from Netrition.com  and today I finally got around to using it.  I like it, the taste is different than Bisquick but it looks just like it and you can make anything out of it, biscuits, pancakes, dumplings, use it in your sausage balls, etc, just like you use the real Bisquick.
I like the taste better than flex or almond flour for sure.  I really do not like using crushed pig skins either, do not like the way they taste and how can they  be healthy for us????   So happy I found out about this product, I would recommend everyone give it a try.
