Smiles at the doctor's office!

I went for my 6 month check up with my internist this morning.  The weigh in was FUN!  ;D  I had lost 30 lbs since my last visit in December, and as of today....he took me OFF my blood pressure medication!  I had been taking Dyazide for hypertension and edema for many years.  He asked me to watch my salt intake and come back in 3 weeks for a bp re-check.  Even one of the nurses asked me "What are you doing to lose all this weight?"  ;D  Made me want to "kick it up a little" and be down a few more pounds when I go back in 3 weeks!  ;)   Thank you FTS!!!  :-*

Honestly I feel bad that up until now, I haven't been a good example for my daughter.  Actually it's the other way around...SHE inspires ME!  :)  She's an avid athlete playing basketball since 3rd grade & now playing in college.  Oh....and she survived the physical extremes of plebe summer in Annapolis at the Naval Academy!  On the flip side, maybe my weight problems scared her so bad, she went to the extreme to stay thin!  ha ha   
I heard a man say one time that before you EVER marry a girl....take a look at her mom to see what to expect in the future.  (  :-[ ugh).  Well, last week Madison's twitter said, "My mom is seriously a G!!"   (whatever that means in teen talk..??  She said it was good! ??  ha ha)
