Not skinny yet Zenababy17 though Andrea is pretty much there.

I am a work in progress.  A sculpture waiting to be finished  :D

In regards to scared, I'm getting older and the fear of age-related diseases on top of weight-related pproblems is what turned it round for me. I had tried lots of other ways to try to lose weight but they didn't last long or satisfy me.

I have never really wanted to give up on fts, even though I had my moments  (and believe you me I was not a happy camper when I had to give up normal chocolate and then sugarfree chocolate as well.  I know 'beauty knows no pain' but it was PAINFULL) but  I knew deep inside me that this is the healthier option.

So, here I am, a work of art in progress.  lol

Thanks Zenababy for all the nice compliments. Really 230 and 55 pounds are the same. We all have a goal and sometimes it can seem like forever to get those last three pounds off. If you really follow this program and stay on it, you'll never be worried about being skinny again. Remember though, it's a lifestyle, not a diet. We all have to choose to stay on it and keep it up.

Welcome to FTS!  :)

Welcome to the FTS family, Sherrie Lynn!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)

Although FTS seems to focus on losing weight, the true focus is improving health.
The weight loss is really a fringe benefit! ;D

When I started FTS, my health was a "time bomb" waiting to go off.
I was on medications for high blood pressure, cholesterol, and elevated blood sugar (type II diabetes).
Now, I'm "medication free" and feel like I did 30 years ago! ;D ;D ;D

So don't be afraid of good health!
God intended for you to be healthy. So embrace that, and go forth with confidence.
