Subject: Miracle Noodles in Whole Foods Florida

Dear Sherri,

This is Jonathan, President of Miracle Noodle. We
know our shipping is expensive due to the weight
so we have been trying to get into as many stores
as possible over the last year.

This Friday, our product goes for formal review
before the buyers at Whole Foods in Florida.

I think we have a very good chance of being accepted
but it is really you that can tip the scales in our favor.
They value highly customers coming in and asking for it as
a way for them to decide to stock it.

Would you consider going to your local Whole Foods
and asking the dairy manager (that is the category
we will be in) if they could stock Miracle Noodles?
You would be helping us so much that I would be eternally
grateful.

Do you shop at Whole Foods?  If so, which one do you shop
at?  Would you say it is a good store?

Regards,

Jonathan

Hi Sherri! :)

fyi... AsianFoodGrocer.com sells comparative quality Shirataki noodles for less $$$.
And, their shipping charges seems to be about half of what Miracle Noodle charges.
This applies to orders within the continental US. Not sure about international.

They ship from San Fransisco, CA.

You're very welcome, my dear! :)
They are my go-to place for Oriental foods.

If one isn't careful, eating a high-protein low-carb diet can get quite pricey.
Since food prices have been steadily rising the first half of this year, sharing information that helps us save money is VERY important.

This is another reason this forum is so valuable to people on their FTS journeys! ;)

Thanks for the tip Tony!!

I was looking around the site and wondered if any one had tried this product?? http://www.asianfoodgrocer.com/product/312660-tochigiya-hira-yuba   I sure can see the possibilities with it.  I love egg rolls!!!  I bet they would work great and only 1 carb each.....

What do ya think....any ideas?

I wish I liked these more, but they're too rubbery for me.

Me to Rena.  I found them in a local grocery and tried them with my spaghetti sauce.   I felt like I was chewing on a rubber band...LOL  :P
It wasn't a taste issue though.  I prefer to use the zucchini hands down.

Tony I bought all the products that I considered low carb.I am gonna write a review on each one.I invited the Asian Grocer to the forum and told them I would post a board for their specials/recipes and coupons. It is truly a great company to do business with they are a class act. ;)

Toosweet & rena is this the ones you have tried

http://www.lindasdietdelites.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=202&gclid=CKmZ1Zjp0akCFcYH2godKFpGOA

The first time I tried them I did not like them and if it was the fettaccine ones they almost made me upchuck they are to grosse to me it is a serious texture thing with those . The trick with the noodles is to cut them with scissors that away you chew the meat that you have in the sauce and the noodles just slide down like Pasta LOL I really like them now but DO NOT LIKE THE FETTACCINE ones

Try it again doing that and let me know if you still dont like it you might not just like I dont like the OMM no matter how hard I try  ???

Yep those are the ones I tried.  Thanks for the tip Jo.   I might muster up the courage to try them again. LOL   I thought maybe it was the way I cooked them.   :-[  It was kinda different to say the least.  Like I said the taste was ok because it took on the flavor of the sauce I was using.  I just wasn't ready for the texture  :P   I was thinking maybe the angel hair would be better??

No, Jo -- mine were the original Miracle Noodles. I tried them twice and it's still a no-go for me. I've seen the ones you pictured in the store, though.
