Wish I could help, sorry.  The Carbquik is like Bisquick.  I used it the other night to roll my chicken in and oven fried, it was very good.

Hey Jo

This is the recipe that I found
http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/4/Bisquick_Like_Mix_Low_Carb61245.shtml
This should take care of the carbquick part.  I think it is real close to the one that I have in my recipe book that my grandmother made. Of course the difference in hers is the flour.  You could probably cut the carbs by using the almond meal or flax.  Or use a half and half, but it shows a net 6g for the recipe.  If you use it let me know how it works  ;)

Sorry Jo

Not sure what I did wrong...LOL  ::)

Here is the recipe

Bisquick Like Mix - Low Carb Recipe

Serves/Makes:   2.25 cups

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups Soy Isolate Powder (or soy flour)   (If you use Now brand unblanched almond meal =4net)
1/2 tablespoon baking powder  (not sure of carb count maybe 1.5?)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon soda
1 tablespoon shortening cut in

PREPARATION:
Mix well and keep dry.

77 calories, 3g fat, 8g carbohydrates, 9g protein per 1/4 cup mix.
It lists 2g fiber =6net *9 servings= 54net for the whole mix  :o

I don't know where they get their nutritional data from..... my soy flour only has 4g per 1/4 cup

I appoligize I didn't see the per 1/4 cup mix.  I was thinking it was for the whole recipe.  If you used Almond flour it would cut it way down though.  ;D

I found it on CDKitchen.com .....I hope this helps

PS   I fixed the link  ;) ;)

Soy flour may go bitter Jo.Almond Flour will work or if you want a graham cracker shell use golden flax or just flax.My crusts are in the Bakery Book ;)
