Dixie Diner Products Question

Can anyone tell me please some of your favorite products that you order from dixiediner.com ? I know this is the site Doug said to go to for a low carb corn muffin mix I believe. Their stuff is pricey but if this is the only site to order certain products that will assist me in my weight loss then so be it. I see that through the 7th of July they are offering free shipping on orders of $40 or more.

The only thing I order from Dixie is beanit butter and cereals.I like the Smaps and granola cereals.Your money is better spent on flours and The Bakery Book then muffin mixes.You can get a free Bakery Book with 50 posts or  pay your $10 for a copy.

Same as Umpa for me -- I only buy Beanit Butter, Smaps cereal, and I'm expecting one of their cinnamon granola cereals tomorrow. We've tried some of the other stuff, but it's expensive and you can easily make your own breads, muffins, cookies for a lot cheaper.

Thanks Umpa and Rena. I'm taking notes. In Doug's cooking video on the southern fried porkchops he made pork rinds into a flour consistentency then added what I thought  was a low carb corn muffin mix from dixie diner. Umpa, will you ask your husband about this and let me know? I did do the southern fried porkchops with the porkrinds. I told hubby to just pick me up a low carb corn muffin mix at the grocery. He brought one home that was something like 24 or 26 carbs and told me that was the lowest one he could find. I think I only added a couple of tablespoons of it to the porkrind mixture. It was all I had! Anyway, the porkchops were very good! What kind of milk do you all put on your dixie diner cereals?

If i have the dixie diner cornbread mix in the house we use it.It is very good cornbread but i add one cup of shredded cheese to it for moisture.It makes a large pan and if i don't make it into muffins it goes bad before we can eat it.The muffins freeze well,cornbread does not.Golden flax is the same consistency as corn muffin mix and it is a zero.I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk its one carb a cup.
Joanne is right about netrition and cheaper shipping than Dixie.Its flat rate at $4.99 and they have all the Dixie Diner products at great prices.

I use Silk Unsweetened Almond Milk. It's 0 carbs because there's fiber. It's found in the fridge section of most stores. They have a shelf version that's new, but not the unsweetened yet.

I put it on cereal, in milkshakes, and drink it plain. I don't miss cow's milk at all and I'm a huge milk lover.

Thanks umpa and Joanne for the update on Dixie. I recently ordered some almond flour, stevia extract, and a few other items from netrition. Didn't realize they have dixie beat on their products. Will just buy everything from netrition from now on.

I actually ordered the Sensato granola from Netrition. It was around $7. Kind of expensive for only 6 servings, but I'm the only one who eats it. It was pretty good. I'd like to try the Dixie Diner granola next time I order, but that one is a little higher in carbs. I think DD is 4 carbs per 1/3 cup, whereas Sensato and Smaps are both 2 carbs per 1/2 cup. Even so, if you love cereal like I do, it's worth it and more of a treat.

The dixie diner granola is a cereal Rena.Isn't the Sensato a granola snack bar??There are so many products sometime I get confused. The granola cereal makes a nice trailmix when you are camping or out and about

The Sensato granola I got is a cereal. It seems kind of high in fat per serving, but it's only 2 net carbs per serving. The one I got was an actual cereal, not a bar. I ordered cinnamon, but I swear it tastes like cherry, so maybe they made the batches close together. I didn't even know they had a granola bar.

I wanted to try Dixie Diner's Nutlettes, but the carb count is so darn high. It's 6, which to me, is too much for a little bowl of cereal. Funny about Netrition though because on the low-carb/cereal section, they don't even list the Dixie Diner granolas. I had to type DD in just to find them on their own page. I wonder why that is.

I like them all.I will try the Sensato though,its lower in carbs .You found a better product Rena
