my girl friend hasn't had any sugar or anything with sugar in it for two weeks and she hasn't lost any weight. I make all her meals so i know she's eating the right foods. could it be that her metabolism is just stubborn? I'm doing the same program and I've already lost 10 pounds. What's the problem?

Carbs must be sneaking in somewhere. What are you/she eating?

My first thought is she's getting sugar from some source. Have her start a food and beverage journal so she can write everything and I mean everything that goes into her mouth down. After 4 or 5 days of entries lets re address her intake. Don't worry, we'll find the culprit, just ask "snobles"  :) She couldn't lose weight either at first then BAM!!

It justs takes longer for women,men lose weight incrediably fast! It is very important that she stay 20 carbs and under.If you want you can go to the drugstore and get some ketosis strips.That way you will know if her body is burning fat.Alot of the ladies here also keep food diaries.You would be amazed how quickly the sugar adds up!We find with alot of the ladies splenda is the culprit.There is information on the forum from doug about it.If i can help you any further let me know.

I am keeping a journal of everything I eat and am only drinking water and tea no splenda.  I got so mad about jumping back and forth from 199 to 200 I dropped to around 15 carbs.  I started to walk a 1.5 miles the last two days.

Eating meat, cheese and vegtables, SF jello sometimes with Reddi Whip, SF Candy 1 serving a day.  Any ideas how I can break this and get the scale moving?  I am burning ketones.

You have made exactly the moves I would have made for myself, increased energy expulsion and decreased fuel intake = more stored fuel burned. I'm sure Gary will agree with me :) You are going to feel so great a week from now because of adding your walk to your routine! I'm proud of you.
