I was 5'4 and I weighed 150 -160  and it was perfect  ,oh how I long to be there again  ;D

Hi Jo! :)

Just follow the FTS rules and you will get there! :)

As we lose weight, our portion sizes and/or carb amount "needs" will decrease.
So as we shrink, so should the amount we eat to still lose weight at the same rate.

At the start of this week, I've cut some of my portions by about 25%.
And the scale has started it's downward progress again!
Sometimes even small changes can produce results! ;)

Although I lose slowly, I'm loving the journey to my goal.
Because I eat like a king, I can see how I can live low-carb the rest of my days with pleasure! ;D ;D ;D

Tony I preach this all the time. We eat too much food not because we need the food but because we enjoy eating. Most of us could eat 1/2 of what we eat daily and be perfectly healthy doing it. That's why I developed the 15 minute rule to get in touch with your true hunger needs. Watch the scale drop my friend  ;)

Thanks Doug! :)

It does work... The scale moved down another 0.8 pounds this morning! ;D ;D ;D

It takes a little effort to find the "balance"... That is the amount eaten and amount of activity where I'm not hungry.
The "balance" is that place where I don't feel hunger (and/or weakness, headache, etc.) but eat enough to keep my body fueled.

About every 3 weeks, usually after I've dropped a pound or two, I reduce the amount of food I eat to see if I am eating too much.
Sometimes, I just find myself getting hungrier (or weaker). So I go back to the previous amounts.
And others, like this week, I'm not hungry. And the weight starts falling again.

So as my body is changing, so to are the amounts I eat.
What you do today is what matters!

The 15-minute rule does nothing for me. I'm always hungry and never really feel full. I don't know why that is. I mean, obviously FTS is working because I've lost 68 pounds, but I still feel hungry all the time, even right after I've eaten. :(

Is it hunger or thirst? I am the same way but usually for me its thirst :)

Rena, do you have any GG Brancrisp breads in the house? If so try adding one into one of your normal size meals and see if that takes care of the problem. If not you may want to order some.  ;)

It's hunger, not thirst -- I'm pretty sure of that. I drink a lot of water.

I'll try the GG Crispbread tomorrow and see if that helps. I've already had enough to eat today to last me until tomorrow. Ugh. My carb count is still low, but everything else is up.

My neighbors have been fighting today and dropping F-bombs loud enough for me to have to bring my kids inside. It's kind of had me stressed out. Funny how stress allows you to eat more than you should without even thinking about what you're doing. Darn pork rinds.

The GG Crispbread is good, reminds me of melba toast.  I love it with The Laughing Cow Light French Onion Cheese wedge. It is spreadable!

Thanks, Amber. I'll have to give that a try, too.

I'm seriously tired of feeling hungry all the time. I don't know, but maybe it's because I'm not doing busy teaching the boys. Maybe things will change come September. I hope so.
