Tony,
Congrats on being smoke free....
I never thought I would be smoke free... I just loved them...
I don't know how it happened, but I just stopped.  I have been smoke free for 15 years!
I love that my body doesn't crave it anymore....
I am still working on the sugar, though...    ::)

Thanks Theresa! :)

My wife and I still get rather strong cravings for cigarettes every once in a while. Fortunately, they usually pass in a minute or two.
We know it's all psychological.

I did too, Tony.  For a long time, too.  But I never went back. I am very proud of myself being able to kick that habit.   I don't think about it hardly at all anymore, even when others are smoking.   Thinking about smoking was good enough for me...and remembering  what I liked about it.

It is funny, the habit is so gross...but I liked it.  Weird.

I also like that I didn't turn into one of those crazy fanatic ex-smokers.  I get the habit and understand why it is so hard to quit.  I'm just glad it doesn't plague me anymore!

Theresa

Tony & Theresa , I quit 3 years ago I can not stand the smell now . Does the smell of cigs stink to yall or is it just me .  Like when someone is smoking at the door when you are walking into the store ,when I smell it I can believe that I even smoked .

My sister still smokes and when we go over to her house or in her car  :P :P maybe it was because I never smoked in my house I guess I was not a dedicated smoker . I almost want to say they are putting things in the cigs now to make them smell different .

It's not just you Jo... Cigarettes stink! :P :P :P

And they have been adding things to cigarettes that make them more addictive.
I would not be surprised if those additives cause them to stink more too.

And Theresa, my wife and I too are not fanatic ex-smokers.
And like you, we enjoyed smoking. That's one of the reasons it was tough to quit.
