GG Bran Crispbread
« on: August 01, 2011, 12:47:18 PM »
Hello, All!  This diet plan/way of eating works GREAT, but it just is not for me.  When I started, I bought a case of the GG Bran Crispbread and ate maybe 2 packages.
I would love to give all these unopened, perfectly good packages to someone who likes it and will use it on your weight-loss journey.
Whoever sends me their name and post office mailing address first....I will mail them free of charge to you....just so they don't go to waste.
Looking forward to hearing from someone.

Hi catlady! :)

I'm confused. :-\

You say this plan of "eating works GREAT", but it's not for you.
I can't help but ask... Why do you think it's not for you?
What you do today is what matters!

Hello catlady, I remember how excited you were when you lost 6 pounds your first week. I also remember your situation......you don't eat meats, fish or poultry.

There's no doubt that the vegan and vegetarian life style are a challenge when eating low carb. The problem always ends up variety. Grains make up a HUGE part of the "V" lifestyle but as you know they also create fat....so what can a person in your situation do?

In the FTS product guide I've dedicated several pages to non animal based protein products based mainly from soy based protein, that a good place to start. The FTS Bakery book is loaded with nut based flour recipes, another great resource for "V"'s  Tofu, Kojak, edemine, spinach, flax, heavy greens like collards, cabbage etc.... the list   goes on and on. YOU MUST WALK AWAY from the grains and I know for you that's the biggest challenge....but it is what it is.

Let's talk GG. I know they are bland when eaten alone however have you tried them with a nice layer of Beanit Butter and Fifty/50 orange marmalade? Or cream cheese, capers and purple onion? How about a slice of tomato with melted smoked Gouda cheese on top. How about spinach dip on top of a GG.

C'mon catlady, this is no time to give it up this is the time to get creative  ;)
