No bake cookies Umpa

Stick of Butter
2 Cups sugar
1 / 2 milk
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 peanut butter
2 cups oatmeal

You melt a stick of butter, 2 cups of sugar and 1/2 cup milk in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil for 1 minute or so, remove from heat and add 1 tsp. of vanilla, 3/4 cup of peanut butter and 2 cups oatmeal. Drop by teaspoons on waxed paper. I think I know how to convert everything except oatmeal .

The issue is that the oats act like a sponge. I would use crushed nuts or almond meal. You are gonna have a bulk issue too when you reduce the sugar to 3/4 a cup of xylitol. ;)

Stick of Butter *1/4 cup
2 Cups sugar *3/4 cup xylitol (if using beanit butter cut this down to 1/2 a cup)
1 / 2 milk *1/4 cup add as needed there are no oats to suck up the milk
1 tsp vanilla *2 teaspoons
3/4 peanut butter
2 cups oatmeal *I would use crushed nuts like walnuts
**.If it was me I would cut the recipe in half to see if it works. If it doesn't work let me know and I will cook it ;)

Don't No-Bakes use unsweetened cocoa powder, or is this a plain version? The ones I've always made used cocoa.

Yes Rena, I've always made them with Hersheys unsweetened Cocoa powder too.  Never had them plain, but this does appear to be the same recipe except for the chocolate.
