WOW, it just keeps coming
« on: August 18, 2011, 09:29:42 AM »
So I took 3 of the kids to get their annual physicals yesterday and learned not only that my Savannah had a fever of almost 102 which I couldnt tell at all, but that she managed to get a small purple ball stuck in her ear... I dont think I have any tears left... I know that its said that God doesnt give you more than you can handle, but I really believe he has me confused with someone else... Im really emotionally, mentally and physically drained and Im hanging on to a very and I mean very thin thread.. I want to crawl in a hole.. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Poor Thing!! Sometimes it just feels like the whole world is caving in and you just can't get out of it...but then somehow, someway it all changes and works out. BIG HUGS going out to you Alex. It's tough with little ones and everything else you're going thru. Remember...this too will pass...hold in there...it will all be okay. We are just one little itty bitty thread in a huge tapestry. We can't see that our little thread is important because we can't step back and see the whole pattern that all our threads together are creating in this life. Just have faith, eat some sugar free chocolate and remember it will all be okay.

It always amazes me why kids put things in their ears and noses  ::)  At least they found it and she can be on the mend.  Keep your chin up girl..... As much as we would like to be we are not the all seeing super hero!!!  We are just moms that love our families.  I remember when my daughter was only two I thought she ate a wild mushroom in the yard.... :o  my son told me that she had it in her hand and I couldn't find it anywhere.  I called poison control and they told me to give her that syrup that makes you throw up.  Only after I gave it to her did my son find the offending mushroom!!!  That poor child heaved for an hour as I cried sitting beside her!  :'( :'(  I felt so bad that I had caused her to be sick, I should have checked the yard, I should have been watching her closer.....on and on......This to shall pass girl ;)  Remember when we are so stressed or upset that every little thing that comes our way will seem so much bigger.  It has to rain before you get to see the rainbow  ;) ;) ;)   Hope (and I know) Savannah feels better soon  :)  Big Hugs!!

Alex: "You 'is kind, You 'is smart, You 'is important"!!! ;D ;D ;D You are a terrific Mom!!  We Mom's do not have X-ray vision or super powers.  We just try to convince our children we do.  Now you just realize you are doing the best you can and that is all anyone could possibly ask of you.  Kids get sick.  They put things in their bodies that shouldn't go there.  You took your child to the doctor, think of all the Mom's who don't.  Feel sorry for those children.  Your child will heal now.  Take good care of yourself too.  You are loved.  Get down on your knees, you'll feel better.  :)

Hang in there, Alex!

I believe that sometimes the Lord allows us to get to the end of our ropes and believe that we can't take one more thing when... BAM!... something else unpleasant happens. This is when faith is essential.

Just thank God you (and your doctor) discovered the fever and the ball before something really bad happened!
But since you did, the Lord's hand was there all along.

BTW, the Lord does not have you confused with anyone else.
I believe that this is the Lord's way of extending His hand to you and asking you to trust Him.

You and your daughter are in my prayers.
I pray for Savannah's fever to break very soon!
What you do today is what matters!

We gotcha honey, hang in there! The fever is probably due to the ear plug, try not to worry. If you have to cry then cry like crazy and let it out.  :'( :'(

Alex,
Having little ones is so hard.  Believe me, I had four under 6 at one time.  ::)They stick things where they don't belong, and they are such little troopers that ear infections, flu and fevers don't slow them down!
You are a great mom!  I know that hole you are talking about.   :P
Hopefully tomorrow morning when you all wake up, the fever will be gone and your little one will throw her arms around you and say "I love you, Mom"  And all will be right in the world.

Hang in there....these times don't last very long! ;)
