Update on my Savannah
« on: August 18, 2011, 07:58:03 PM »
Whew, so I took her to the specialist to have the ball removed and I pray that I never go thru that again as Im sure she doesnt want to either.. That was an unpleasant experience...  Thank God she is much better.. She is taking antibiotic and has broken the high fever.. Also I dont have that discomfort in the opening of my stomach...

Thank you all for being there.. I dont just say that, like really it has helped me and you all have been a shoulder for me.. Thank God for all of you and your kind and sweet words....

Everything each and every one of you wrote had an impact on me... On a great note, the Dr's office was next to a Whole Foods store and I found a GG crisp, liquid malitol and zero carb coconut flour....couldnt explore more because Savannah was really tired  :-[ after her ordeal...

Hi Alex! :)

I'm so relieved that Savanna is doing better!!!

It sounds like your stomach issue was stress related.
That's great news that it's not bothering you anymore!!! ;D ;D ;D

Alex,
So happy to hear Savannah is feeling better.
When my son was 4 he shoved a bead up his nose.  They had to use the alligator grabby-things to get it out in the hospital emergency room cuz I took  him there in a panic...looking back, there was nothing to panic about...they pulled it out and we all laughed because it was one of those beads with letters stamped on them (for making bracelets)...and it had a "J" on it...his name is Jonathan!  Well, we were all sure he knew his alphabet!
He is now 13, and has no memory of it.

Funny little buggers!

Welcome to parenthood, Alex! ;)

And when they get older, the concerns change but otherwise everything else is the same.
We always are concerned for our kids!
