Sandwich keeper
« on: August 26, 2011, 08:02:41 AM »
These are fun to use.  Found them at Walmart.  A pack of 3 was only $1.00 LOL.  Made a "french toast" OMM.  Just an idea I thought I would share.  I sprayed a small amount of cooking spray in it first and then used a paper towel to "grease" the sides.  It's clear so you can check the bottom to make sure the OMM is fully cooked.

COOL! I've seen these, but never thought of using them for the OMM. I've been making my bread in a microwavable omelet pan. It would be fun to have one shaped more like bread. I'm weird that way.

Walmart won't be able to keep them on the shelves now LOL!  When I thought of the idea I couldn't find any at local store.  Found them about 30 miles away.  They're out there, don't give up!  I agree Rena, it's a mind thing.  Once I have my mind set, gotta have it.

Yes I just have what I call debbie downer days  LOL . I have battled OCD & depression since a year after I had Tyler .
I always had a small weight problem but when they but me on the depression meds wow I was happy & eating and getting fat and did not care . So about 5 years ago I got off those crazy pills slowly and thought I would lose the weight they caused me to gain which I did 10 pounds LOL all the other pounds were from eating out cause I feeling so much better and have been stuck with it until FTS !

FTS has also helped my depression ,but I still have bad days . Sometimes it is if Tyler has a bad Blood Sugar day ,or what I call my ""future tripping "" where I think about how is he gonna make it with this very expensive & life threating disease he has when I am gone .

Which by the way I know I have NO CONTROL OVER ,GOD DOES !!!
But in my OCD debbie downer days it is hard to stop my brain from overworking .My sister says shake your head like a etch-a-sketch & say a prayer , Which I do daily that is probably what is wrong with me I have shaken my head too much  :D :D
Anyway I am  glad I have yall guys to talk too & know yall care !!

Our lifes can change in a instance that is why we all should live everyday to its fullest, and not worry about tommorrow ,something I do do most days !!!!! :-*

Jo, I understand debbie downer days.  I had a lot of them until FTS (which has only been since early July).  OCD, hmmmm, I know I have that too LOL.  Only my son calls it "anal" (nice huh)...he is just picking with me though cause he knows how I am.  I have friends who pick on me and say "they have medicine for that" and I tell them "great..you take them, I like the way I am, attitude and all LOL"

Hi Jo! :)

Thank you for sharing.
I have my down days too. I imagine, at one time or another, we all do.

We can't do a thing about yesterday except let it go.
We can do little about tomorrow except leave it to the Lord.
It's what we do in between the two that really matters.

Focusing on today and counting all your blessings is the secret to peace and happiness.
What you do today is what matters!
