Hi Binky! :)

"Thanks Umpa!  I'll try not to obsess with the scale anymore.  I think I'll just have a weigh in once a week.  (I'm gonna try that is)"

I agree with Umpa... Remember that weight loss is FAR more than that number in a box on the floor. ;)

Thanks, Joagain!  I honestly thought that the scale might go up this morning because I ate tons of food yesterday.  The FTS way of course, but I was happy that it went down.  Did the happy dance because I'm almost at my half way point.
YIPPEE!!

My sister borrowed my book yesterday because she is just amazed about how much weight I've lost and how fast.  I hope she gives FTS a try!

awesome Binky ;D ;D ;D
so happy for you.
I was happy for me too today I had one pound off this week and I stuck to my diet good over the weekend, the last 2 weekends had been rough. I made the Sheperd pie on Saturday it was good and today I made pumpkin chili, I will post that recipe when I have time it was very very good. But oh I do no like to cook, but I am trying. ;)

Hi Rosie! :)

Congrats on losing!!! ;D ;D ;D

FTS may be the key to get you to enjoy cooking.
Although I can cook, I did not like it anywhere near as much as I did before I started FTS.

Each time you make something new and delicious, you've done something you should be proud of.
It should make you feel good. And the more you do it, the better you should feel about it!

Also remember, kitchens (like homes) that don't get "dirty", are kitchens without anyone doing anything in them.
Where practical, I try to clean up while I'm preparing dishes. So when I'm done, it's no big deal.

Don't let something as small as a messy kitchen deter you from your journey to good health! ;)

Thanks Mouseissue, I know what you are saying, I too enjoy the cooking more when I know it is doing me 'good'.  My shepherd pie turned out great so did my cheese broccoli casserole, so that made me happy. I'm trying ;)

I don't look at cooking as a chore, I look at it as a celebration of a healthy life. When I take full control of the ingredients in my food I take full responsibility for my own healthy future  8)
