I'm baaaaaaacckkk!!!
We had a BLAST in Sedona!... Plenty of shops, restaurants, street musicians, and beautiful art galleries.
There is a plethora of psychics and "aura cleaners and photographers"... My wife and I couldn't help but giggle.
I often wondered where all those hippies went that I knew in the 60s.
The beauty of the "Red Rock" part of Northern Arizona and Sedona is simply breathtaking.
The vistas were so very inspiring. It's easy to understand why so many artists, writers (like J.A. Jance who I almost bumped into) have been attracted to it.
If you've ever seen the movie "Broken Arrow" (1950) with James Stewart, you saw Sedona before the stores, shops, galleries, etc. showed up.
But even with the development, the beautiful rocky landscape is still there today!
And if you've never visited the Grand Canyon... You MUST put it on your "Bucket List".
Standing on the edge of the South Rim looking a mile down at the Colorado River will make your knees weak.
You can almost see God's finger scratching out the canyon... It's truly majestic!
We managed well keeping up the FTS lifestyle there. All the restaurants were more than willing to accommodate us.
We had no weight gain (or loss)!... Probably because we did not exercise as much as we did at home.
It's nice to be back home!... I was really starting to miss my buddy, our miniature schnauzer, Winston!
