I am in a 'rut', not really loosing, maybe I am eating too many sf products, I will spend some time today looking at recipes on here to try to motivate myself.

Rosie carb creep can get you fast.Write down what you eating.Sugar alcohols will derail weight loss if you are eating too many. ;) Worst comes to worse re-read the book and start over. You can do this, don't give up. :)

Thanks Umpa, I am hanging on, I admit I have had some 'weak' moments but NO I WILL NOT GIVE UP OR QUIT, This works, I have lost some and my clothes are all fitting so much better, I must keep on keeping on, and yep it is unreal how carbs are in everything.

Weak moments happen Rosie and I have found if I keep something fun in the house, that's when I have it. Like make the berry cheesecake, cut it into serving size pieces and freeze them. When you're feeling weak take one out of the freezer and sit it on the counter. It takes about an hour to thaw and in that time you will pull it together, know you have a fun snack going to happen and not cheat on your FTS program. I also keep pumpkin seeds and peanuts on hand for those occasions. Something about the crunching of either of them really help me. I sort the peanuts into snack bag so each little baggie has three carbs. Then I can just grab a baggie and know that I'm not going overboard. I also keep ham and swiss (no carb) roll ups on hand. Those are great when you're peckish but don't really want a full meal.

Just a few ideas, I so want you to succeed with this Rosie  :)

Thanks Sherripie and Umpa, I appreciate that. I am making my grocery list now and I will buy me some of those small bags and do what you said Sherripie. Umpa you are the best!  Feel like I know you girls, you have become my 'friends'. Everytime I feel hopeless I just tell myself Sherripie did it so can I!!!!  Sherripie I think I read somewhere you said you kept your carbs very low, way under 20 a day?  How did you do that?  If you have time could you tell me a sample of what you eat a day to give me ideals. Just eating two of the Josephs Pitas per day take lots of my carbs, let alone trying to squeeze in some veggies.   I been trying to just have one pita a day with lunch, but still many days I need the second one depending on what we are having and especially if we are eating out.

I have to keep my carbs at 12 or less per day or I don't loose. Now that I'm maintaining I eat around 20 to 25 a day. My meals during the day are really boring but all my carbs come in with my dinner meal. I don't cook so I just eat whatever is low carb or no carb for breakfast and lunch then enjoy my husbands amazing cooking for dinner. Normal day consists of three ham and swiss roll ups for breakfast (no carbs), lunch I usually have salad with tuna or I am currently obsessed with Chicken Vienna Sausages (no carb) and then for dinner I have tacos or steak sandwiches (in a pita) or whatever is on the menu for that night and a huge helping of cheese garlic broccoli.  I also keep an extra four carbs available for a piece of low carb cheese cake when needed oh and I LOVE the Land-O-Lakes No Carb Whipped Cream. I keep a can of that on hand with the little jello cups for a nice treat. ;)
