Salmon Patties!!
« on: October 17, 2011, 07:45:06 PM »
So, husband and I made salmon patties, fat to skinny style, porkrhinds instead of flour! I really love the crunch the porkrhinds give instead of just plain old flour, from back in the day. We used bbq porkrhindes and they were awesome!!! Sadly, I only had ONE!! And I was STUFFED!! Where oh where has my appetite gone?!! LoL...Both husband and I were totally stuffed!

@KFaith, my mom used to make them to, although hers were good, they were dry. We used porkrhinds, it added a wonderful crust to them!! Let me know how ya like them!

Hi Stephanie! :)

Pork rinds are my standard coating for fried foods.
I will also use almond and/or flax flours. But for crunchiness, nothing beats the rinds! ;D

OH Umpa, so very sorry, is that the grandma you posted the picture of that sings? You and your family are in my prayers. Not so long ago I sat with Hospice at my daddy's bedside and watched as he passsed on into everlasting life with Jesus, I would of thought I would of went to pieces, but God gave me such peace, like I had never known before, I am praying that peace for you and your loved ones tonight.
