I'll have to wait to find out.  I remember when the only time watermelon was available was Memorial Day to Labor Day.  I'm not a fan of the winter variety.  I think I have a hankerin', not a cravin'.

:) We agree. I never wanted watermelon so badly that I was willing to make my pants tight! :D

I'm not a real fan of any of the melons. About once a year they taste good, then I think they don't agree with me, because I don't have a problem passing them up. But having the jicama and cucumbers without the watermelon is a good combination and I'll try it this summer if I can find good crisp jicama. Otherwise, maybe I'll just try the cucumber spears with chili and lime sprinkled on them!

We have peanut allergies in my house! Can I fry the jicima in veg. or olive oil!?! How long does it usually take to get them browned and crisp!!! I'm excited about trying this!!! Thanks for the recent posts, so it popped up in my "unread" list! I had forgotten about this!!! Yummy!!!   :o

New puppies are such fun! I like the new trend of not clipping dobies' ears. Such a pretty dog!

I agree Sarah, I'm trying to win that battle with hubby! He wants her ears clipped and I don't! We'll see how it pans out!! lol

She's absolutely adorable! 7 weeks old, red dobie!!

I'm going to try to put a pic. in this message...if it works, this is London (new puppy) with my youngest 2 children on the way home yesterday!!

Beautiful babies!! ;D The only reason to get her ears done is if you want to show her or breed her.I have 5 yorkies and when i use to breed them people wanted to see the tails and ears done.My biggest BamBam we never could get his ears up because his sister use to pull him around by his ear tape! :D

hahahahaha....don't think that we plan to breed her! Plus, I think that the decision was made today, NOT to crop her ears!!! YAY!!!  ;)
