Thanks mouseissue, you are always there encouraging me, means a lot :) God Bless!!

God bless you too, kiddo! :)

Umpa's right about losing size while not losing pounds.
My scale hasn't moved in quite some time. But, slowly I continue to lose inches.

weight loss is a very complex metabolic process.
Sadly, our culture has tried to reduce it to just a number on a scale.
What you do today is what matters!

Hi Zombiegirl  don't waist your money unless you want to....  ;D  Just use a string and mark it.  Who cares what the number is anyway..... this way you will just notice you are getting smaller  ;) ;)

The men here took the scale took the batteri out then hid both . They said I could have back JAN 1ST . I was driving them crazy !!!

I mean we really did not get on the scale when we were gaining all this weight  ;) I would run from a scale before .
Some of us just shift our addiction/OCD to somewhere else dont we SUZ  ;)

Oh dear! LOL hope my family doesn't do that jo!

I realized I hadn't changed my ticker yet, so I updated it...for my last known weight, so I think wednesday or thursday I will jump on, that will be over two weeks from when I re-started FTS so I'm praying for a change! :)

Hi zombiegirl! :)

I take measurements once a month.

What ever you do, remember that this is a lifestyle.
We will be watching carbs the rest of our lives REGARDLESS of what the scale says.
This is how we will insure that we stay healthier and avoid things like type II diabetes.

Taking weight or size measurements is good for checking on our status.
But doing those things does nothing to make us any healthier. ;)
What you do today is what matters!

reply to Umpa from page 2.... Umpa, my daughter and hubby and granddaughter live right next door they are in and out all the time, my granddaughter stays here overnight lots and I see her everyday putting her on and off bus etc, she eats breakfast here every day and often supper,  so they do not actually live under our roof but they live right next door eat here often. Hubby has heart disease and sugar and worries the stuff I been eating is too high fat for his heart. Than I started having chest pain myself for several weeks on and off,  but it has eased up  lately. I have an appointment to see my doctor in late dec.
I been on and off back and forth, gaining and relosing, not doing well at all.
I AM NOT QUITTING, I AM TRYING TO GET BACK ON TRACK.  but nope not doing well at all. Been sick lots lately too that is not helping.
With God all things are possible
Rosie

Hello Rosie! :)

Sadly, your frustration is self-inflicted.
FTS will work for you ONLY if you commit 100% and not go on a off.
As you've seen, going on and off will produce on and off results (as one would expect).

Like Doug says "Stay the Course", and you'll reach your destination.
Like a car, shifting from forward to reverse, back and forth (as your experience has demonstrated) will get you nowhere.

Have you hubby read Doug's book so he'll understand what is responsible for excess body FAT.
I was close to having heart disease before FTS. But now thankfully, it's only a memory.
What you do today is what matters!
