Giving myself a smaller size for Christmas

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have decided to go for loosing 240 by Christmas and I'm going to need your support. I have been maintaining for the last few months but always regretting not losing the full 240. I have thought for a while that 240 would put me just where I wanted to be and then I could just maintain. So after being wishy, washy about it for the last few months I decided to give it to myself for Christmas. I am so close why not just do it. That will put me at a weight I was in for a short while in my 20'sl and where I always felt the best. I have twelve pounds to go, hopefully I can do it by Christmas.  I started last week and I had forgotten how quickly it comes off. I dropped back to 12 carbs a day and pulled the sugar free candies and it's seems to be just melting off.

Just wanted to let everyone know what I'm up too.

Sherriepie what a wonderful xmas gift for yourself!  I totally support your goal and I KNOW you can do it.  Look how far you have come already.  Just please make sure that you are eating enough and keeping your energy up.  You want to look and feel your best during the holidays.  I have been waffling about my next goal to get down to my 20s weight as well and have been hanging  out at my current weight for about a year.  I'm thinking after xmas I'll refocus when the stress of work and holidays is over and I can concentrate on me. I'm a supervisor for the the retail merchandisers for Hallmark (Kroger/Kohl's/Martin's/Barnes & Nobel/Hobby Lobby)....this is our busiest time of year until Mother's Day but Christmas is absolutely crazy.

You can reach your goal if that is what you truly want.  Have faith!  I'll be here to cheer you!

Izzet your job must be CRAZY right now, but what a fun job to have. Thank you for the encouragement everyone. I am eating well, keeping my strength up and hoping to loss that 12 before Santa comes. The thing about FTS is that we can lose whatever we want and be any size we want, it's amazing to have that power at our fingertips.

I'm stopping at 230. I hit the smaller size and I'm happy. My sweet husband has asked me to stop, saying I'm perfect! Well I have waited my WHOLE FLIPPING LIFE for someone to say that to me. So I'm stopping and going to just hang out in my 230 pound lighter frame and enjoy life. Speaking of enjoying life, I have a casual-chic Christmas party to go to tonight. So I went shopping this week for something to wear. The weird thing is when I go shopping I still feel like nothing is going to fit at the regular stores, almost like a fraud. Like they are going to see me shopping here in normal sizes and laugh at me. And if anyone of a size larger than a 20 has ever shopped at Dillards or Macys, you know how those sales peeps like to look down their noses at us. Anyway, I hit Dillards and the sales peeps all helped me and I was able to wear EVERYTHING I wanted to try on. I even shopped in the JUNIOR DEPARTMENT and they fit too. It was the best time I have ever had and I felt like it was a Christmas present in itself.  I found a beautiful, shiny silver shirt with these cool diamond cut outs in the very front. It's amazing, something I would never in a million years dreamed I would be wearing. Since it's casual, I'm pairing it with a pair of tight jeans! ME IN TIGHT JEANS can you believe it and no muffin top. I started my journey as a size 32/34, last Christmas I was a size 22 and this Christmas I'm in a 10! Life is good!

Merry Christmas to all my FTS compadres. We deserve to enjoy life!
