HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

My sugar dragon has started to dwindle!  Yes I said "dwindle"- my cravings are not so out of control YEY!
Just like to say how much I have been enjoying reading FTS.  Thank you Doug!  It's time for me to buy my own copy because the library wants their copy back LOL.

Have a great day and thanks again for the great welcome! -
it's cold here but sunny!

Faith ;)

Just had a lovely couple of days camping by the lake. Have been very good although tempted by wine and port, which I really love. I had a sip of my husbands port and just didn't feel like drinking. My biggest problem at the moment is a crappy headache. I see that it is quite a common problem. Looking forward to getting on the scale tomorrow morning with 1 week down. Went for an hour bike ride yesterday and felt really good after it. A big welcome to some more newbies. Lets fight this dragon together.

Faith thanks so much !  I DO feel better than I have in years!  I think the first week of detox was the toughest.  It's funny now, but I remember telling my husband that I just felt like I had the flu or something! ha ha  I was seriously that addicted to sugar.

You know, I have never even checked to see if I am in ketosis.  I guess it would be interesting to buy some of those little strips and check it out.  ?

 :)Good morning  FTS peeps
I am in med ketosis this am. I knew something  had change today.  One thing is my energy is high, I almost feel hyper.  I woke up at 7am and got up instead of laying in bed. Wow! Headache is gone and I am thirsty for water which I have never noticed before.  Today will be my cooking day for the week so we have proper food to eat when we get home from work.  That is our danger zone.  My DH who has lived an LC lifestyle (loss 100 lbs) for about 6 yrs has just recently gained back about 35 lbs, yes the dragon is on  his back.  He is really having hard time getting back into the groove.  I have heard that each time you restart LC it gets harder  and harder to lose but not impossible.

Good job curtain girl ,yes let's do this together!   Thanks Umpa, I going to look over the site recipes today.
Hi  Maddysmom   I bet you have been in ketosis most of the time. I love it because it's like your hunger has been turned off, its magic!  Have a great Sunday.   Faith
