spreading the word with a mouthful

So a friend of mine at work borrowed my book and this morning she said she was going to buy it..

What convinced you ask?   lol

Umpa's brownies I made last night.... I was asked the recipe by 3 people.. shared the forum info.. so now that I have taken them to the lake, I hope they drink..

My family LOVED the brownies too...

Hey Alex, did you make the almond four or the flaxseed recipe?   They are both great!  The last one I tried was the recipe Jo gave me that she uses to make brownies for Tyler. 

I also took a tip from Umpa and made ice cream sandwiches with them!  Oh my!!   Just slice them open, put carbsmart icecream in the middle, wrap in cellophane, and stick them in the freezer.  It is an awesome treat!  ;)

In the Fat to Skinny Bakery.Its made with regular flaxseed flour.Flax and chocolate go together like peanut butter and jelly ;)

They really do make great icecream sandwiches.Can stay in the freezer for awhile and grandson loves them ;)

I used flax seed Jan.. it was very yummy but ok here is a confession, I wanted a cold glass of milk (which I didnt ahve) with it..

  Have you tried to have the almond milk Alex?  I've really gotten where I love it when I have something like brownies or anything sweet.  I don't feel like I'm missing out then  ;)

Yes flavoring is the key.  It doesn't take much though.  If you want a more real milk flavor than add a little heavy whipping cream to it.  My fave is SF eggnog, or Hershy's strawberry or chocolate syrup (sugar free of course  ;) )  Every now and then I just need a glass of milk...LOL 

If that doesn't work though I found this in the store a while back. http://www.hood.com/Products/prodListColl.aspx?id=851   It is good to know it is there in case I need it.  My daughter loves milk and probably wouldn't mind drinking it.  I have to say that I haven't tried it though..... Someone else on here may have????
