« on: January 19, 2012, 06:11:16 PM »
Doug,  I have tried all day to get your original fat to skinny low sugar low carb cookbook on my tablet. None of your books come up and I have tried everything. I really need it so where can I get It. If I buy it on the computer will it come on the computer?

Hi Alex I thought I would respond because I just did this myself.   Does your Nook connect to your computer?

I don't have a nook but it is probably very similar to my kindle.  Here is what I did.  Once I connect my device to my computer (if it doesn't open this window up for me) I click on start and click computer to show my drives. (You should see your Nook in a drive of its own)  Next I open another window by clicking start, click my documents, click downloads and locate your FTS book.  Simply drag and drop to the Nook drive.   That should do it  ;)   You should be able to do your cookbooks the same if you have them...... I hope this helps girl  :)

I love love having them with me where ever I go....LOL

Hi Alex! :)

That's great that your jury duty experience was good.

My last time was sitting around all day waiting to be called... It drove me, nuts!!! :P

I have jury duty on February 28th.  The notice says to limit the amount of metal you bring into the courthouse and they don't allow knitting needles, crochet hooks, sewing needles or scissors.  That leaves me with nothing to do with my hands for every minute I have to sit there.

I usually listen to books on my IPod to free up my hands.  I might need to buy a real book to keep me occupied.

Hi Andrea! :)

You might contact them ahead of time and find out if they allow iPods... You may be surprised.
If not, it's a good idea to be prepared.

They'll let in the IPod  but that leaves my hands with nothing to do.  I might dig out a sketch book.  I took  a class called drawing for people who think they can't and I can draw a mean vase.
