Thanks for asking!... Still kickin!
We had historic snowfall followed by an ice storm that put us in the dark with no power, phone, or cable since last Thursday morning at 8:20 PST.
The power was restored about 1:35 PST this afternoon... HALLELUJAH!!!
The cable came back this evening (thus I'm able to respond to your email).
Our phone service will allow outgoing calls. But won't ring the phones for incoming. This should be fixed in the next day or so.
All incoming calls are being forwarded to my cell.
I'm definitely going to look into some from of power generator back up.
It was sad to lose a lot of groceries in the fridge.
Thank God, the freezer in our garage kept everything frozen. It's LOADED with meat, fish, cheeses, etc..
I've been a little lax with the FTS rules the last week.
When forced into extreme situations, we gotta do what we gotta do.
But, I did not really gain (or lose) any weight in the process.
So now, it's time to start the recovery process and get back on solid footing.
Please let all my fellow FTS family members know that we're OK.
I have a mile deep stack of emails (and other business) so it may take me a while to get all caught up.
