Weight Up than down
« on: January 21, 2012, 11:53:55 AM »
The first four days on this plan I actually lost 4Lbs than the next 4 days I gained back 2lbs. Is that normal?

Hi Sweeties!  Don't worry.  I fluctuate around a 4 pound range all the time.  There are SO many things that affect our weight.  Once I realized that 2 cups of coffee is a POUND, I just don't let the scale stress me.  I just set my ticker to the lowest I've seen on the scale, then update it when it goes below that the next time.   Also, I have decided that I am not on any time schedule.   I KNOW I will continue to lose if I stay the course.   ;)

Yeah ... what Maddysmom said.

I swear, I can wash my hands and get a different reading on the scale. :D :D

Me too and it DRIVES ME CRAZY!  I swear that scale is possessed and hates me. I went my first month on FTS only weighing in every thirty days. It really helped me stay on the lifestyle.

I really NEED to hide mine.  Though I don't let it stress me, it does make me laugh out loud sometimes!  :D

So far since I started FTS my lowest weight as been 270.  Last week I stepped on my scale and it said 266.  When I've lost, I always step off and back ON about THREE times just to confirm the loss.  When I stepped back on it said.... 276!!!   ha ha   As bad as I wanted, I didn't update my ticker down by 4 pounds.....or UP by 10 pounds!  ha ha   I will just buy a new battery when I get groceries.  (And then I am will probably too be scared to step on it!   :D)    I should probably have Phil hide my scales for a while too.  :-\

My husband hides mine from time to time and it really helps. There is no reason to let some little mechanical monster that lives on the bathroom floor ruin our whole day.

I think we should have a scale strike . Although it does not bother  me like it use to ,it is not good to get on it for sure when you are first starting FTS

I like that cartoon where the two little girls are looking at the scale and one says, "Don't step on it. It makes you cry."
