Hi Everyone,

I am a 56 year old retired New York City Firefighter and Pastor. I just got the book and was wondering what are the best ways to get started. I am prediabetic and need to lose about 60 pounds.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi, Mark and welcome! I think you are on the right track already. Read as much in here as you can. This has been so helpful for me. I really like the recipe section. I have taken ideas that I have read about and then made my own versions at times. The main thing is to READ LABELS....all the time!
You will like it here. Everyone is very supportive, funny, and informative!

Watch out for Beebs, though,  as she likes to gross us out from time to time with worm stories! ha ha
