First Restaurant Breakfast

My first time trying to order sugarfree at a restuarant.  Egg, Ham and fresh fruit.  No toast and no has browns.  I felt good about this.  I will succeed!!!

Good for you Barb! :) :) :) :)

Be careful of most fruits like bananas, apples, pineapples, plums, figs, grapes, oranges, etc..
They are high in net carbs.

Berries like strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and cranberries are a good bet.
Although lower in carbs, they must be counted.
Too much of anything good is not good.
What you do today is what matters!

The fruit consisted of a slice of peach, grapes  :( pineapple :( and a slice of kiwi.  I will mark the fruit off my menu unless it is berries.  Thanks for the clarification

Even with the berries you need to be careful , Grapes or what Tyler (type 1 ) eats when he needs to bring his sugar up fast !!  ;) This the net carbs for berries Barb !!!

 1 cup halves 8.67
 1 cup whole 8.16
Blueberries
 1/2 cup 8.81
 1 cup    17.51 
 50 Blueberries 8.25
Raspberries
 1/2 cup 3.34
 1 cup    6.69
 50 Raspberries 5.14
Blackberries
 1/2 cup 3.12
 1 cup   6.24

thanks for the info on fruit.  I have been shying away from anything except strawberries and blueberries.

Strawberries,Blackberries and avocado are your best bets.Always measure blueberries.They can eat up your carbs quick.I lie a mixture of all 3.
