Ok, YUCK! Do Not Bake! I rolled out some dough and used my biscuit cutter to cut circles. Put beanit butter and jelly in one and beanit butter and cho chips in the other - topped with more rolled-out dough and baked in my toaster oven. The dough did not perform at all. It's like shoe leather. The beanit butter and cho chips was gross. The good thing was that it didn't use much dough, so I can keep experimenting. I'll try frying some in oil and see if it puffs up like it did yesterday. Maybe storing it in the fridge wasn't a good idea. Stay tuned!

Ok, save yourself the angst - it's better fried, but not as flakey as it was yesterday and I just don't care for the flax in it. We'll call this one a flop. It was filling, though. Maybe I should keep it around and when I really start craving a little dessert, I can fry up a disk of this stuff! Voila! Craving gone!

Andrea i have only used vital wheat gluten for breads to give the yeast something to feed on.So i don't know the answer to your question. ;)

PS: I am trying to locate a picture that was taken of a Manta Ray
off of St. Augustine when I was in a sailboat race wingtip to wingtip
showed on both sides of a 12 ft wide racing sailboat. I was glad
they eat very small things.

Big sigh. My tortillas were a fiasco. A flop. A big mess. Messed up the whole kitchen. I was so hungry that I ate one - half burned, falling apart... I put cheese on it and ate it anyway. yuck.
