I'm very happy...
« on: February 12, 2012, 07:37:24 PM »
Today I was going out for lunch and went looking for a long-sleeved top to wear. Ho hum. Same-ol', Same-ol', then I remembered a really cute long-sleeved top that my daughter gave me 5 years ago, that I've never been able to wear. It's a 'large' and at the time I was wearing 2X, so I put it in a drawer and forgot about it except when I would run across it now and again. Anyway, I tried it on this morning and IT FIT! I cut the tags off (at least I hope I got them all!) and wore it! It's even loose in the boobs! It must be an oversized large because I'm sure I couldn't fit in a regular large, but I was just tickled! And the SCALE isn't budging!

Isn't it an awesome feeling to try on something that didn't fit and now it does?  Good for you!!  ;)

A little over a year ago, I was wearing all stretchy 4x elastic pants because my women's plus size 30/32 pants were tight.  Just yesterday I was able to button and zip a pair of size 18 jeans that Sherripie had sent to me!  I was ecstatic!!  Thanks again Sherri!...and for listening to me carry on & on about it yesterday!  I was crazy happy!!! ha ha    ;D

Last night I had three kinds of sweeteners (I've been off of them for a couple months) and had salt on my eggs (not been using that either) and during the night I didn't have to get up for the potty all night. Normally I have to get up at least three times. This morning I'm up a pound! Well, I was wondering what would happen if I ate that stuff. Now back to plain food. Lots of water on the menu today.

I made some like this: 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice in a 12 ounce glass, 2 packets of Truvia, ice and water to fill the glass. Stir like crazy to mix the Truvia in. I think it is 2 grams carbs. (1 ounce = 2 tablespoons, 1 ounce of lemon juice = 2.5 grams carbs)

Well, the lemonade worked! Trip upon trip... Thanks, Umpa! Now to tank up on water so I get my nightly exercises! (Truly, I was kind of worried that my kidneys had shut down for some mysterious unknown reason.) Whew!

I think I'll spend 2 carbs on lemonade more often. Does lemon crystal light have the same diuretic properties, Umpa?
