When I dropped sodas barb I got headaches for a couple of days.Coke Zero was my soda of choice. ;)

Your headaches sound like caffeine withdrawal, Umpa.  That's pretty common when you go cold turkey.  I drink one cup of coffee a day and I have a headache by 10am if I skip it.  Not pounding but definitely there.
